Dependable heat and AC for Dolton's brick homes

Much of the housing dates to the mid-century and heats with forced air — though the older brick stock still turns up hot-water boilers and radiators, and we service those too. Aging equipment gets an honest read: what failed, what the fix costs, and whether the smarter money is on planning the replacement.

Brick construction makes venting the design question. A modern furnace exits the sidewall, which changes the chimney's job — and any water heater still using that flue needs to be part of the plan. We sort the whole picture before installation day, not during it.

Retrofit central air is common here, and it ages like anything else. We'll test before we replace — a failed capacitor shouldn't be sold as a failed condenser — and when a unit truly is done, the new one gets sized to the house, not to the old label.
