AC Maintenance & Tune-Up
Cooling tune-ups before the heat arrives — coils cleaned, charge verified, electrical parts measured. Part of the 240 tune-ups we've run since 2023. The goal is simple: find the weak capacitor in May, not in the first 95° week.

Straight answers
When should I schedule AC maintenance?
Spring, before the first real heat — that's when a drifting capacitor reading is a calm appointment instead of an emergency in a full week. If summer already started, book anyway: coils and drains don't care what month it is, and mid-season checks still catch failures early.
What kills air conditioners in a heat wave?
Weak capacitors, mostly, with dirty condenser coils close behind. Both fail under sustained load — exactly when every service board in the city is full. Both are also cheap to catch in spring, because the readings drift long before the part dies. That's the whole case for a pre-season visit.
My AC works fine — do I still need a tune-up?
"Works fine in June" and "survives late July" are different tests. An older system earns the annual checkup — that's where drifting parts and dirty coils hide. A newer one may just need coils rinsed and a filter habit, and we'll say exactly that rather than upsell the visit.
